St Bonaventure’s Vision

Here at St Bonaventure's we strive to provide high quality care and education for children in their pre-school year. We appreciate this can be a huge step into the wider world for children, parents and families, so we pride ourselves on our ability to ensure all children feel happy safe and secure with us. We hope that St Bonaventure's Pre-School is a warm welcoming and caring environment that feels like home, where the team feel like family reflecting the trust we have built between us..

St Bonaventure’s Pre-School provides care for children aged 3-4 years, based on Egerton Rd in Bishopston, Bristol. The pre-school was established in 1965 and has been serving the local community for over 50 years, where we have grown and flourished. In 2010 the pre-school moved into its purpose built setting on the site of St. Bonaventure’s Church and Primary school.  That said, we are not a faith setting and we sincerely welcome all children with open arms. We provide a caring and stimulating environment, which enables all children to develop their capabilities as successful learners and confident individuals.

We have an established team of professional early years practitioners, who have a wealth of experience and qualifications.  Our practitioners are continuously inspired by the children and families within the community, and we therefore strive to provide quality support and service to them all.  The team here at pre-school recognise that being part of the personal leaning journeys of the children within our care is a complete privilege and one that we all cherish.

The pre-school receives funding for the provision of free early education for children aged 3-4 years.

We open each weekday during school term times. For full details regarding opening hours, please
